Easter Call for Unity and Selflessness in Nigeria

During Easter celebrations, Rt. Rev. Sundai Adewol, the Bishop of the Kwara Anglican Communion, and Oba Adeyemo Adejugb of Ekiti called for selflessness and a return to godly living to address Nigeria's insecurity and economic challenges. Bishop Adewol delivered a message at the Cathedral of Saint Barnaba, urging citizens to reflect deeply on their spiritual lives and to live righteously, which he believes will attract God's blessings. He linked the country's socio-economic hardships to a decline in moral values and called for a collective effort to promote peace and unity. Adewol encouraged Nigerians to support the less privileged proactively and to maintain faith in God's ability to bring about transformation. Similarly, Oba Adejugb highlighted the need for fervent prayer, particularly in light of the upcoming Ekiti State governorship elections, and urged citizens to embody virtues such as forgiveness and love, as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
