FCT Minister Wike Celebrates Easter, Ensures Security

Barr Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), congratulated the Christian community in Nigeria on the occasion of Easter, marking the completion of the 40-day Lenten fast. He extended warm greetings to residents and joined the global Christian community in celebrating Easter, which symbolizes new beginnings and renewed hope.

Wike urged residents, particularly those of the Christian faith, to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ during this season and to rededicate themselves to serving the nation and fostering harmony within communities. Additionally, Wike reassured residents about the comprehensive security measures implemented by the FCT Administration to ensure a peaceful Easter celebration. He acknowledged the ongoing infrastructure revolution in the city and satellite towns, attributing these developments to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's "Renewed Hope" agenda, which aims to transform the FCT and promote progress and harmony.
