Wike Urges Abuja Residents to Embrace Unity for Eid

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), delivered a message during Eid-el-Fitr, calling on residents of Abuja to uphold values of compassion, forgiveness, and unity. He highlighted the significance of these values during the Ramadan period, which culminates in the Eid celebrations.

Wike congratulated Muslims on successfully completing their fast and emphasized that this period offers a unique opportunity for spiritual rejuvenation and self-reflection. He reassured that the FCT Administration will continue to provide a conducive environment for political activities leading up to the 2027 elections.

Wike urged residents to maintain peace and harmony, irrespective of political affiliations, gender, or ethnicity, as the nation prepares for nationwide campaigns. He also acknowledged the contributions of individuals and organizations during Ramadan in promoting unity and peace within the capital.

Wike's message included appreciation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership and the hope for continued progress in Nigeria.
