Ebonyi Boundary Crisis: Four Beheaded, Others Injured in Renewed Clash

In Ebonyi State, a boundary crisis between Okporojo Oso Edda community in Edda Local Government Area and Amasiri community in Afikpo Local Government Area escalated, resulting in four people being beheaded, several injured, and properties worth billions destroyed. The attack, which occurred last night, saw two dead bodies recovered, two missing persons, and multiple houses set ablaze.

The Ebonyi State Commission on Internal Security, represented by Etta Uka Ud, confirmed the incident and condemned the barbaric act. The state government swiftly intervened to prevent further escalation, deploying security agencies to restore calm and investigate the situation.

The police are working to identify and arrest the perpetrators for prosecution.
