Ebonyi Governor Nwifuru Commends World Bank Healthcare Efforts

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State expressed gratitude to the World Bank for its impactful healthcare projects during a meeting with the World Bank mission assessment team in Abakaliki. He assured that the state is committed to sustaining the benefits of these healthcare programs, which align with the administration's agenda to improve the lives of citizens.

Nwifuru highlighted the significance of the interventions, marking the first time the World Bank has implemented such a project in the state. He noted that the healthcare programs have already delivered tangible benefits, including the recruitment of 328 workers and the provision of essential medical equipment such as MRI and CT scan machines.

Onoriod Ezir, a leader of the World Bank delegation, commended the state administration's strides in healthcare delivery and expressed appreciation for the advancements made. The governor reiterated the state's resolve to continue collaborating with the World Bank to ensure the sustainability of these healthcare initiatives.
