Nwifuru's Governance in Ebonyi Praised by Uchenna Igwe

Hon. Uchenna Igwe, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in Ebonyi State, commended Governor Franci Ogbonna Nwifuru for elevating the standards of governance in the state during his three-year tenure, which began on May 29, 2023.

Igwe highlighted Nwifuru's achievements, including the establishment of peace among various communities, the construction of the first ICT university in Nigeria, and the recruitment of 2,000 teachers. Nwifuru's administration has also focused on infrastructure development, with projects such as the Abakaliki inland road network and various rural road projects.

Additionally, the governor has implemented welfare programs and health sector reforms, contributing to stability in the state. Igwe expressed confidence in Nwifuru's re-election bid for 2027, stating that no political party currently poses a challenge to his candidacy.

The administration's focus on human capital development and community empowerment has been pivotal in maintaining peace and progress in Ebonyi State.
