Nwifuru's Aide Defends Achievements Against Diaspora Claims

Offia Nwali, an aide to Ebonyi State Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, issued a press statement on Thursday, dismissing claims made by the All Ebonyi Indigen Socio-Cultural Diaspora (AEISCID) that the governor has failed to deliver on governance. Nwali emphasized that the governor's performance is verifiable and highlighted several achievements, including the awarding of scholarships to 1,000 Ebonyi students, with 300 beneficiaries studying in the UK and the US.

He noted the construction and rehabilitation of educational institutions, an increase in monthly subventions to Ebonyi State University, and the recruitment of 2,000 teachers and medical personnel. Nwali also mentioned the revitalization of healthcare facilities, infrastructure projects across 13 local government areas, and the establishment of agro-industrial zones.

He urged the AEISCID to engage constructively rather than distract from the administration's development efforts, asserting that the people of Ebonyi State will ultimately judge the governor's leadership.
