PDP Women in Ebonyi Back Chief Ifeanyi Odii for Governor

Mrs. Chinyere Nwele, the Woman Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State, convened a meeting with women from Umu Ekumaenyi in the Ezza clan to rally support for Chief Ifeanyi Odii, the party's governorship candidate in the upcoming election scheduled for February 6, 2027. Nwele expressed concern over years of unfulfilled promises by the current All Progressives Congress-led government, which she claimed has left women feeling marginalized and neglected.

During the meeting, attendees voiced their struggles with hardship and a sense of abandonment by the government. Nwele criticized the current administration for lacking direction and being led by inexperienced politicians.

She asserted that despite receiving significant monthly allocations, the government has failed in essential areas such as human capital development, education, infrastructure, and healthcare. Nwele promised that an Odii-led government would focus on improving roads, healthcare, infrastructure, and empowering farmers, urging the women to mobilize for a change that prioritizes development.
