Ebonyi State Backs Tinubu for 2027 Presidential Bid

David Umahi, the Minister of Works and former Governor of Ebonyi State, declared that the people of Ebonyi State will continue to support Bola Tinubu's presidential candidacy for the 2027 elections. This statement was made during an endorsement event held in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State.

Umahi emphasized that the state has no alternative but to back Tinubu, highlighting the ongoing development projects across the region. He noted that Tinubu's administration has executed several landmark federal infrastructure projects valued at N445 billion, including the 123-kilometer Ndibe Beach to Nbeke Ishiek boundary project with Benue State.

Other significant projects mentioned include the dualization of the Enugu-Abakaliki road and the Afikpo-Uturu-Okigwe road. Umahi also stressed the importance of federal attention to the Southeast and the need for continued support for Tinubu, who he believes has demonstrated a commitment to the region's development.

The endorsement was supported by Governor Franci Nwifuru and other dignitaries present at the event.
