Umahi Urges Prayers for Tinubu's Re-election in Nigeria

David Umahi, the Governor of Ebonyi State and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), called on Nigerians to pray for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Speaking during the Eid el-Kabir celebrations, Umahi expressed that Tinubu has the best intentions for Nigeria and is dedicated to solving the country's challenges.

He emphasized the need for prayers for the president's health and strength to continue his work. The governor noted that the Muslim community in Ebonyi State, which includes individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, actively participated in the celebrations, receiving gifts such as cash, rice, and groundnut oil.

Umahi urged that instead of criticizing the administration, Nigerians should support Tinubu's efforts and offer practical alternatives for reform. He reiterated the importance of unity and collaboration among different ethnic groups in Nigeria, particularly during significant religious celebrations.
