ECN Global Academy Wins U17 Title in Gwagwalada

ECN Global Academy secured the U17 title in Gwagwalada by defeating Medical Strikers with a lone goal scored by Salisu Abubakar in the 59th minute, following a well-executed corner kick. The match was characterized by a strong defensive display from ECN, which held off numerous attacks from Medical Strikers, resulting in a goalless first half.

The final attracted several dignitaries, including Iyiola Ogundel, Deputy Director of Sports FCT, and Ikenna Okonkwo, Secretary General of SWAN. Despite their loss, Medical Strikers received the Exemplary Conduct Award for best behavior during the tournament.

The event featured 16 teams, and Patrick Ngwaogu, Executive Director of ECN Global Ventures Limited, expressed satisfaction with the tournament's growth and commitment to identifying outstanding talent. Individual awards included Olow Michael as Best Goalkeeper, Hamza Alhassan as Highest Goal Scorer, Mose Davi as Most Valuable Player, and Yussuf Aliyu Baba as Best Coach.
