Edo Sports Commission Chairman Lauds Facilities for Niger Delta Games in Benin City

Desmond Amadin Enabulele, the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, has commended the facilities being prepared for the 2nd Niger Delta Games in Benin City. The facilities, upgraded by Dunami Icon Limited with sponsorship from the Niger Delta Development Commission, have seen significant improvements, with Enabulele expressing satisfaction with the progress.

The tour of facilities included tennis courts, swimming pools, indoor sports halls, the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, basketball and volleyball courts, and the Wire Road Sports Center. Enabulele declared that the facilities are 90% ready for the games, with upgrades benefiting both athletes and the host state.

The Edo State Sports Commission is focused on discipline and training to achieve set targets, with the camp officially opened for the upcoming games from February 20 to 27. Athletes are urged to aim for new records and maintain discipline to succeed in the competition.
