Osun State Governor Adeleke Emphasizes Education for Good Governance at Minaret University Inauguration

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke stressed the significance of education in promoting good governance during the inauguration of Minaret University in Ikirun, Osun State. The university, established by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, aims to advance scholarship and enhance the capacity of citizens to resist tyranny and lawlessness.

The event, attended by dignitaries including Sultan of Sokoto and Ooni of Ife, featured the investiture of Prof. Abdullah Abdur Rahman as the pioneer Vice Chancellor. The university's focus on disciplines like data science, information technology, and economics aligns with its goal of fostering intellectual development and socio-economic growth.
