Adeleke Calls for Just Society During Ramadan 1445AH

On the commencement of Ramadan 1445AH, Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke urged Muslims to renew their commitment to building a just society. In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawal Rashe, Adeleke described justice as the foundation of a safe and prosperous nation.

He congratulated the Muslim community on the holy month, highlighting Ramadan as a time for spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and sacrifice. The governor encouraged Muslims to observe the fast according to the dictates of Allah and to embody the values of patience and tolerance.

He also called on residents to strengthen their faith and dedicate themselves to helping the less fortunate during this period. Additionally, Adeleke acknowledged the resilience of the people of Osun amidst challenges, including alleged unlawful seizures of local government funds in the past year, assuring that his administration remains committed to delivering good governance and fulfilling its mandate despite obstacles.
