Adeleke Confident of Re-election in Osun Governorship Poll

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is campaigning for re-election in the upcoming governorship poll scheduled for August 15. He highlighted his administration's performance in areas such as the economy, education, sports, health, and agriculture, asserting that these achievements will guarantee victory.

During an event with members of the Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria at the Government House in Osogbo, Adeleke stated that his first-term governance adhered to due process and equitable distribution of infrastructure across the state. He emphasized his five-point agenda focusing on the integration of youth, women, and worker welfare.

Adeleke urged the Islamic community to pray for free and fair elections, asserting that his administration will continue to run an inclusive and forward-looking government. Hafiz Akand, the Secretary of the Ansarudeen Society, commended Adeleke's unprecedented performance in the state's history and appealed for assistance in constructing a new mosque affected by a road dualization project in Iwo Town.
