Aguocha Prioritizes Education Investment for Constituents

Chief Obi Aguocha, representing the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, highlighted his focus on educational investment as a key aspect of his legacy during a speech on Tuesday in Nkwoegwu, Umuahia North Local Government Area. Aguocha stated that his commitment to education aims to secure long-term opportunities and improve the livelihoods of his constituents.

He noted that his advocacy efforts have led to significant outcomes, including the restoration of job certifications for thousands of affected Nigerians. Aguocha disclosed that there are currently 700 beneficiaries enrolled in a tertiary institution scholarship support scheme aimed at indigent students, with the revalidation process for beneficiaries set to commence within two weeks ahead of the 2026 award cycle.

He also mentioned ongoing legislative advocacy to uphold constitutional rights and address justice issues, including a petition regarding invalid certifications affecting nearly 25,000 individuals, and emphasized the importance of education in empowering individuals and uplifting families.
