Godwin Abiri Awards Scholarships to 40 Students in Ebonyi

Godwin Abiri, representing Izzi West in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, awarded scholarships to over 40 students, amounting to seven million naira, in a ceremony held in Ogbagharu Village, Ndiechie Ezza Inyimagu Community. Abiri expressed gratitude to Governor Franci Ogbonna Nwifuru for his developmental efforts in the state and pledged to continue supporting educational initiatives.

The event included the inauguration of a school band and the construction of a four-classroom block at Ogbagharu Community Primary School. Abiri emphasized the importance of education and encouraged students to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

Paulinu Alegu, chairman of the Godwin Abiri Foundation, praised Abiri's leadership and commitment to addressing community needs. Local leaders, including Chri Uchaji and Godwin Nwogbaga, commended the scholarship initiative, urging students to take their studies seriously to avoid disqualification from future benefits.
