EFCC Recovers N108 Million for Greenwich Planet Sun King

On July 22, 2026, the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) handed over N108 million to Greenwich Planet Sun King Nigeria Limited in Lagos. This amount was part of the funds recovered during an investigation into alleged abuse of office, forgery, stealing, and diversion involving two former employees of the company: Nkechi Gladys Megai, who is currently at large in the United Kingdom, and Godson Eze, a former Chief Financial Officer.

The investigation uncovered that the suspects forged documents, created fake invoices for legitimate vendors, and diverted funds through fraudulent transactions, amounting to several hundreds of millions of naira. At the handover ceremony, Acting Zonal Director Bawa Usman Kaltungo reaffirmed the EFCC's commitment to ensuring justice for victims of economic crimes and recovering fraudulently obtained assets.

The company's legal representatives expressed gratitude for the EFCC's thorough investigation and confirmed that the recovered funds would help mitigate the company's losses.
