EFCC Orders Arrest of Dismissed Staff On Lege Miami’s Show

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has ordered the arrest of a dismissed staff member, Olakunle Alex Folarin, who appeared on a matchmaking show hosted by Lege Miami on August 25. The EFCC clarified that Folarin, a former driver at the Ibadan Zonal Directorate, was dismissed for presenting forged documents but allegedly retained EFCC property, including an identity card, which he failed to return.

The EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, directed the immediate arrest of Folarin for unlawful possession of official items. The EFCC strongly condemned Folarin's involvement in the matchmaking program, emphasizing that former staff should uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

The agency warned the public against associating with Folarin or attempting to impersonate EFCC personnel.
