EFInA Hosts Event to Boost Women's Financial Inclusion

The Enhancing Financial Innovation & Access (EFInA) organization intensified its efforts to advance women's financial inclusion by hosting an event in Abuja, coinciding with International Women's Month. The gathering, themed "Give Gain," aimed to bring together diverse stakeholders to explore practical approaches for empowering women economically through financial inclusion.

Chief Executive Officer Foyinsolami Akinjayeju emphasized the need for stronger partnerships and deliberate actions to invest in women, particularly women entrepreneurs, who are vital to Nigeria's economic activity. The event featured a keynote address by Dr.

Aisha Isa Olatinwo from the Central Bank of Nigeria, who noted that advancing women's financial inclusion requires clear enabling policies. Discussions included the challenges women face in accessing formal financial services and the importance of developing products that are relevant to women's realities.

The event also highlighted the significant contributions of women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to Nigeria's economy.
