Egunjobi, Ninalowo Win APC Primaries in Agege

Ganiyu Egunjobi emerged as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly primary election for Agege Constituency 01, while Azeez Ninalowo won the primary for Agege Constituency 02. The elections were held on Wednesday, with the conduct overseen by the party in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

Both candidates were earlier adopted as the party's consensus candidates during a meeting with the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, which took place the previous Tuesday. Following their victories, Egunjobi and Ninalowo described the outcomes as a welcome development for the party and called on other aspirants to support the party's efforts, urging them to unite and focus their energies on ensuring the party's success in future elections.
