APC Primary Election Dispute in Lagos: Egunjobi's Claims

Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi, an aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections for the Agege Constituency in Lagos State, has publicly accused the state leadership of the APC of manipulating the election results. Egunjobi claims that the declared winner, Mr.

Gbenga Michael Abiola, finished third, with Egunjobi himself receiving 9,132 votes according to records from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and corroborated by the Department of State Services (DSS). Egunjobi expressed disappointment over the outcome, alleging that the APC leadership disregarded the will of party members.

He stated that the election process was flawed and called for a review to ensure justice and uphold democratic principles. Egunjobi emphasized his commitment to the APC and urged for a peaceful resolution to the dispute, while also submitting a formal petition to the appropriate electoral appeal body to support his claims.
