Ports Police Command Enhances Security for Eid al-Adha

The Ports Police Command has tightened security measures in the port environment in preparation for Eid al-Adha. Commissioner of Police Oluwatoyin Agbaminoja expressed greetings to the Muslim community and the wider maritime community on the occasion of Eid el-Kabir.

She urged everyone within the port area to uphold peace, unity, and mutual respect during the celebrations, which symbolize sacrifice, obedience, tolerance, and love. Agbaminoja called on port operators, transport unions, and stakeholders to remain security-conscious and report any suspicious activities to the nearest port police.

The command reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring safety along the port corridor, which is vital for supporting Nigeria's maritime economy.
