Nony Soludo Promotes Love and Unity for Eid-el-Fitr

Nony Soludo, the First Lady of Anambra State and founder of the non-governmental organization Healthi Live, issued a statement on Thursday congratulating Muslims across Nigeria on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan. In her message, she urged Nigerians to promote love and unity, highlighting that Eid-el-Fitr serves as a reminder of love, sacrifice, and tolerance, which are foundational to harmony and peaceful coexistence.

She emphasized that the celebration symbolizes spiritual reflection and gratitude to Allah, strengthening community bonds through prayer, charity, family visits, and gift exchanges. Nony Soludo encouraged everyone to spread true love and happiness, suggesting that acts of kindness can lead to smiles and joy during this festive period.

Additionally, she acknowledged the significance of motherhood in a separate note, reflecting on the value of motherhood beyond material terms, coinciding with the observance of Mother's Day on March 15.
