First Lady Advocates Peace and Unity in Nigeria

During an event held at the Abba Kyari Banquet Hall, the First Lady of Nigeria, alongside Senator Tinubu, launched a distribution of 100 trucks of rice valued at N1.2 billion to support vulnerable Muslim communities across 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory. This initiative coincided with the Eid el-Kabir season and aimed to express solidarity and gratitude.

The First Lady highlighted a previous distribution of palliatives to Christian communities in northern Nigeria on December 23, 2025, reinforcing her commitment to inclusivity. She appealed for continued coexistence and mutual respect among communities and urged religious leaders to promote peace.

Governor Uba Sani praised the First Lady's dedication to welfare and humanitarian efforts, emphasizing Kaduna State's commitment to alleviating hardship and improving the quality of life for its citizens through various social interventions.
