Bala Mohammed Advocates Unity and Compassion for Eid

On the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi expressed gratitude to Allah for granting Muslims the strength to complete their fast during Ramadan. He described Eid-el-Fitr as a time for reflection and a recommitment to righteous living.

Mohammed urged citizens to sustain the moral lessons learned during Ramadan, such as patience, charity, humility, and kindness, and to continue supporting the less privileged. He commended religious leaders and scholars for their roles in promoting peace and moral discipline throughout Ramadan and called for mutual respect and tolerance among diverse groups in Bauchi State.

The governor also emphasized the importance of vigilance in supporting security agencies amid emerging security concerns and reaffirmed the state government's commitment to maintaining peace. Acknowledging the prevailing economic challenges, he reiterated his administration's resolve to implement policies aimed at improving livelihoods, investing in agriculture, infrastructure, and human capital development.

He concluded by wishing Muslims peace and joy during the Eid celebrations.
