Bago and Otti Urge Muslims to Promote Peace During Eid

On the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago called on Muslims to pray for an end to insecurity in the state and across Nigeria. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Bago congratulated the Muslim community on successfully completing Ramadan, emphasizing the significance of the holy month as a time for spiritual reflection and perseverance.

He urged Muslims to continue practicing the lessons learned from the Quran and Hadith, and to offer fervent prayers for peace and stability. Meanwhile, Abia State Governor Alex Otti also encouraged Muslims to embrace virtues that promote peace and unity, reaffirming his administration's commitment to religious freedom and equal treatment for all religious groups.

Both governors highlighted the importance of prioritizing peace and coexistence among residents, especially during this significant period of celebration.
