Governors Urge Peace and Unity on Eid-el-Fitr

On the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal extended congratulations to the Muslim community, urging them to intensify prayers for peace in Zamfara and across Nigeria. In a statement issued by his media aide, Sulaiman Idri, Lawal highlighted the completion of the 30-day Ramadan fast and the importance of the Eid celebration as a time for gratitude and unity.

He called on the Muslim faithful to work collectively towards a better future, emphasizing values such as patience, self-discipline, and empathy. Similarly, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang also called for peace and unity among Muslims during this significant occasion.

His message, released by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr. Gyang Bere, underscored the importance of the values of sacrifice and submission to God during Ramadan.

Mutfwang reaffirmed his administration's commitment to inclusive governance and urged all residents to abide by the law and support government policies aimed at economic growth and development.
