Bauchi Police Enhance Security for Eid-el-Kabir Celebration

The Bauchi State Police Command has intensified security arrangements and released emergency contact lines in preparation for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, which is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026. In a statement issued on Monday, spokesperson Nafiu Habib conveyed that the Commissioner of Police, Sani Omolori Aliyu, extended warm greetings to the Muslim community in Bauchi State and across the country on this occasion.

The police command has deployed adequate personnel across strategic locations to ensure a peaceful celebration, fulfilling its mandate to maintain order. Personnel have been stationed at major highways, recreation centers, and public places across all 20 local government areas.

The command has also warned against activities that could disrupt public peace during the festivities, advising criminal elements to stay away from the state. Additionally, parents and guardians are urged to monitor their children to prevent involvement in unlawful activities.
