Sanwo-Olu Urges Peace and Unity During Eid-el-Kabir

On the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State released a message encouraging Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to embrace peace and coexistence. The message, delivered through his special adviser on media and publicity, Gboyega Akosile, highlighted the significance of the holiday and the lessons derived from the sacrifices made by Prophet Ibrahim.

Sanwo-Olu noted that Eid al-Adha symbolizes patience and perseverance, reminding citizens that faith and tenacity during challenging times lead to great rewards. He called on Lagos residents and Nigerians to draw inspiration from Prophet Ibrahim's example, urging them to avoid divisive tendencies that could destabilize the country.

Additionally, he encouraged support for President Bola Tinubu's administration in its efforts to build a united and progressive nation, emphasizing collective responsibility in the development of Nigeria.
