Raphael Onyedika Joins Eintracht Frankfurt on Five-Year Deal

Nigeria international Raphael Onyedika has completed a permanent transfer to German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt from Belgian champions Club Brugge, signing a five-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2031. The signing was confirmed by the Bundesliga outfit on Sunday.

Onyedika, who will wear the No. 25 jersey, has had a successful career in Belgium, winning two Belgian Pro League titles, the Belgian Cup, and the Belgian Super Cup with Club Brugge. The 25-year-old midfielder is recognized for his composure, tactical intelligence, and ability to break up opposition attacks.

He made significant contributions during his four seasons at Club Brugge, making 40 to 52 appearances each season. Onyedika has also been a vital member of the Super Eagles, earning 26 caps and participating in the squad that reached the final of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
