Ekiti Executive Council Donates N100m for Oyebanji's Re-election

Members of the Ekiti State Executive Council donated N100 million to support the re-election campaign of Governor Biodun Oyebanji. This significant contribution was made during a brief meeting held in the council chamber in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday.

Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, and Jide Aw represented the council members in making the donation.

They described the contribution as a token of love and support for Oyebanji's second-term campaign. Oyebanji expressed gratitude for the gesture, emphasizing the profound appreciation for the substantial donation, which he noted was unprecedented in the council's history.

Chief of Staff to the Governor, Niyi Adebayo, confirmed that the amount would be deposited into the campaign council's account, coordinated by the Welfare Committee led by Prof. Akeem Azeez.

The council members reiterated their commitment to working diligently to ensure Oyebanji's overwhelming victory in the election scheduled for June 20.
