The APC support group in Ekiti State has formally rejected the endorsement of Toyin Okoro Zacheau as the consensus candidate for the House of Representatives in the Ekiti South Federal Constituency. The group urged the APC screening committee to conduct a thorough investigation into the allegations against Okoro, claiming that the endorsement process was clandestine and did not adhere to party protocols.

The letter addressed to the chairman of the APC screening committee highlighted concerns regarding Okoro's suitability for the position, referencing his current role as sole director of Zac Lawrenz Nig Ltd. The group pointed out potential conflicts of interest, as documents indicated that the company benefited from government contracts worth approximately 90,000,000 Naira.

The letter emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of the party and requested that the committee take necessary steps regarding Okoro's candidacy.
