Iroko Comprehensive High School Receives Science Lab Donation

Iroko Comprehensive High School in Iroko, Ekiti, has received a significant educational boost through the inauguration of a modern science laboratory complex, funded by local medical doctor Opeyemi Ab. This facility is designed to enhance practical science education among students and includes two standard laboratory halls, two teacher offices, a store room, a washroom, and four modern toilets.

The project aims to improve scientific learning and raise academic standards at the 10-year-old school. Opeyemi Ab emphasized the importance of practical scientific exposure for students, encouraging them to maximize the opportunities provided by the new facility.

Local lawmaker Biodun Omoley noted that the donation addresses the school's previous lack of a science laboratory, describing it as a timely intervention. Plans for additional support include a modern library equipped with solar lighting to ensure safety and security.

Traditional ruler Sundai Ekundayo commended the initiative and urged the community to prioritize education for a better future.
