Ekiti University Seeks Monarchs' Support for Growth

On Saturday, Prof. Babatunde Omojola, the Vice Chancellor of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology in Iker Ekiti, visited Oba Adeyemo Adejugb, the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, to seek the support of traditional rulers for the growth and development of the university.

Omojola emphasized the critical role that traditional rulers play in shaping societal values and guiding the younger generation. He expressed the need for meaningful partnerships with royal fathers across Ekiti State to promote peace, stability, and sustainable development within the university community and beyond.

During the visit, Omojola praised Oba Adejugb for his enlightened leadership and contributions to the education sector. The Vice Chancellor also highlighted the importance of collaboration between universities and traditional institutions, especially at a time when higher institutions are expected to contribute meaningfully to societal development.
