Oyebanji Votes in Ekiti Elections, Confident of APC Victory

On the morning of the elections, Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji cast his vote at Poll Unit 003 in Ikogosi, Ekiti West Local Government Area, at 11:38 AM, accompanied by his wife, Professor Olayemi Oyebanji. Arriving at the polling unit at 11:23 AM, he joined the queue and participated in the accreditation process in an orderly manner.

Oyebanji expressed confidence in the electoral outcome, stating that the APC aims to surpass a target of 500,000 votes. He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for their conduct during the elections, acknowledging minor challenges but assuring that issues would be addressed.

He encouraged voters to remain patient and cooperate with electoral officials to ensure a credible outcome. When questioned about allegations of intimidation against candidates from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Oyebanji stated that such claims needed to be substantiated.
