Nigerian Police IG Denies Arresting Peaceful Protesters in Ekpoma, 52 Suspects Apprehended

Egbetokun highlighted the importance of distinguishing between peaceful protests and criminal behavior, asserting that the police will not hinder peaceful demonstrations but will address violent acts. The arrests were made in response to incidents of violence, property destruction, and looting during the protests in Ekpoma.
