El-Rufai Detained by EFCC Over Financial Allegations

Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State from 2015 to 2023, voluntarily presented himself at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday. Following this, he was detained and spent his first night in custody as investigations into alleged financial improprieties during his tenure continue.
