Adeleke Accuses Corps Members of Election Fraud in Osun

Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, alleged that members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) are accepting N50,000 to manipulate election results. He expressed concerns about the integrity of the electoral process, stating that the effectiveness of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) relies heavily on the honesty of its officials.

Adeleke pointed out that there are 3,763 polling units in Osun State, making it impossible for INEC's leadership to monitor every unit physically. He criticized the notion that the INEC Chairman could guarantee transparency without cooperation from field officials.

Adeleke lamented the violence during elections, which has resulted in the deaths of young people, and urged for immediate reforms to prevent electoral malpractice. He called for a commitment to change the current situation to ensure a better future for the youth and the country.
