The African Democratic Congress (ADC) member, Okonkwo, criticized the lawmakers for allegedly weakening the intent of electronic transmission by proposing a manual collation option.

Senator Moham Monguno's amendment to allow manual collation alongside electronic transmission was faulted by Okonkwo for potentially undermining Nigeria's democratic process.
