FG Launches 100-Day Tourism Calendar "Ember to Remember"

The Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, led by Hon. Hannatu Musa Musawa, announced a national 100-day tourism calendar named “Ember to Remember,” set to run from September to December 2026, in collaboration with MyCityApp Nigeria. At a press conference in Abuja, Musawa revealed that the Ember to Remember National Stakeholders Conference will occur on 14th September 2026 at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
This conference aims to unite various stakeholders, including government officials, state tourism authorities, private sector representatives, financial institutions, airlines, hospitality leaders, event producers, creatives, technology companies, and the media. The program seeks to connect culture, tourism, entertainment, hospitality, transportation, commerce, and the creative economy, moving beyond mere events to build a robust economic structure around these experiences.
Musawa stated that Nigeria's cultural richness extends beyond December, advocating for a year-round tourism strategy that enhances economic activity and positions Nigeria as a competitive tourism destination.
