Business Leaders Urge Nigerians to Embrace Resilience

During the fourth edition of the "Imperfectly Awesome" conversation held at the MUSON Centre in Lagos, business leaders including Dr. Segun Ogunsanya, the current Chair of Airtel Africa Foundation and former Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria, and Mr.

Godfrei Ogbechi, Group Executive Director of Rain Oil Limited, called on Nigerians to embrace resilience and authentic discipline to navigate life's challenges. Ogunsanya emphasized that resilience is not merely about recovering from setbacks but involves a persistent effort to adapt and refine one's approach to goals.

He noted that setbacks in one's career should be viewed as temporary disruptions rather than permanent failures. Ogbechi highlighted the significance of hard work, self-belief, and mentorship in overcoming self-doubt.

Dr. Lola Bamigbaiy also contributed by encouraging individuals to accept their humanity and view failure as part of the learning process, reinforcing the idea that resilience and discipline are essential tools for personal and professional success.
