Lamido Urges PDP to Embrace Wike's Caretaker Committee

Sule Lamido, a prominent member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and former governor of Jigawa State, has called on party members to accept the caretaker committee proposed by Nyesom Wike for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Speaking during a Ramadan iftar event in his hometown, Lamido emphasized the importance of healing and unity within the party to restore its strength.

He acknowledged Wike's strategic political role and highlighted the necessity of collaboration among party members, even amidst internal disagreements. Lamido stated that Wike is a clever leader who understands the need for a caretaker committee following the expiration of the National Working Committee's (NWC) term.

He urged all members to work together in the spirit of reconciliation and brotherhood to ensure the PDP remains united and effective in its operations.
