Kebbi APC Stakeholders Back Governor Idris for 2027

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State have expressed "absolute confidence" in the re-election of Comrade Governor Nasir Idris for the 2027 elections, attributing this to his impactful leadership. Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, Managing Director of the Hydro Power Development Commission (HYPADEC), made these remarks during a meeting in Abuja with the Governor’s Media Team.

He highlighted the "unprecedented development" across Kebbi's economy within two years of Idris' administration, noting that various groups, including traditional leaders and labor unions, have shown appreciation for the Governor's initiatives. Specific achievements mentioned include regular scholarship payments, construction and rehabilitation of educational institutions, payment of pensions, provision of free farming inputs, and healthcare improvements.

Yelwa stated that the people's interest in Idris' re-election surpasses personal interests. Engineer Ahmad Faruk, Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), also affirmed the lack of vacancy in the Kebbi State Government House due to the Governor's accomplishments.
