First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Calls for Unity on Eid-el-Kabir

On the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu called on Nigerians to embrace peace and coexistence while extending charity to the less privileged. She emphasized that the strength of the nation lies in unity and mutual respect, urging citizens to reflect on the enduring values of sacrifice and obedience to faith during this special time.

Tinubu encouraged Nigerians to translate the spiritual lessons of Eid into tangible acts of kindness towards their neighbors, particularly those who are vulnerable. She appealed for a collective effort to renew hope and bring comfort to those in need.

Additionally, she urged Nigerians to sustain prayers for the country, wishing everyone an Eid Mubarak. Eid-el-Kabir, also known as Eid al-Adha, commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to God, who intervened by providing a ram as a substitute.
