The faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) led by Taminu Turaki has declared the endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 general elections as immoral and unjust. This assertion was made by Ememobong during an appearance on Arise Television's morning show, where he discussed ongoing reconciliation efforts within the PDP.

Ememobong insisted that it is inappropriate for a major opposition party to support the presidential ambitions of a ruling party candidate. He expressed optimism regarding the reconciliation process within the PDP, emphasizing that it should be guided by reason rather than sentiment.
