ENGAUSA CEO Awarded for Advancing Kano's Orange Economy

On August 13, 2026, Ringim, the CEO of ENGAUSA, received an award for his contributions to Kano's orange economy during the Senior Executive Course 48 (2026) study tour at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Plateau State. The tour focused on "Economic Diversification and National Development: Leveraging the Orange Economy and Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Growth in Nigeria." Ringim presented a paper titled “Transforming the Youths through Entrepreneurship Development,” stressing the importance of entrepreneurship, practical skills development, innovation, and digital literacy for empowering young Nigerians.

He noted that ENGAUSA had trained 9,120 trainees and apprentices, incubated over 700 startups, and contributed to the creation of more than 10,978 jobs over six years. ENGAUSA has expanded from a small cubicle to two large training centers in Kano and offers an online learning platform, ENGAUSA Academy.

Training participation grew from 63 in 2019 to 3,275 in 2025, attributed to improved offerings and methods.
