Enugu Governor Mbah Receives Good Governance Award in USA

Enugu State Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah was honored with the Good Governance award at the 10th edition of the African Community Service Awards held in Virginia, United States of America. The award was presented on his behalf by Dr. Madueke Ekoh and acknowledged Mbah's administration's commitment to transforming Enugu State into a modern economic powerhouse.

The organizers highlighted significant progress in key sectors since Mbah took office, particularly in education, healthcare, infrastructure, transportation, and economic development. Notable achievements include the construction of 260 Smart Green Schools and 260 primary healthcare centers, aimed at enhancing digital skills and improving medical access, respectively.

The renovation of the Presidential Hotel, reconstruction of the International Conference Centre, and the development of the new Enugu City project were also commended. The initiatives have contributed to increased internally generated revenue and strengthened Enugu's economic position in Nigeria.

Dr. Madueke Ekoh expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized Mbah's dedication to the welfare and future of Enugu State.
