Enugu Governor Mbah Wins Good Governance Award in USA

Enugu State Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah was honored with a Good Governance award at the 10th edition of the African Community Service Awards held in Virginia, USA. The award was presented on his behalf by Dr. Madueke Ekoh, acknowledging Mbah's administration's commitment to transforming Enugu State into a modern economic powerhouse.

The organizers cited significant progress in key sectors since Mbah took office, particularly in education, healthcare, infrastructure, transportation, and economic development. Notable achievements include the construction of 260 Smart Green Schools and 260 primary healthcare centers aimed at enhancing access to quality services.

The renovation of the Presidential Hotel and the International Conference Centre, along with the development of the new Enugu City project, were also highlighted. Furthermore, improvements in transportation and connectivity, including strategic road construction and the establishment of Enugu Air, were recognized as vital for boosting tourism and commerce.

The award reflects Mbah's vision and commitment to human capital development and economic transformation.
