English footballer Jonathan Gjose narrowly escapes death after being stabbed on a train, receiving treatment along with nine others. The suspect, Anthony William, has been charged with multiple counts of attempted murder and possession of a blade.

Gjose, a former player of Corinthian FC, was attacked on an LNER train bound for Scunthorp. The suspect, captured on CCTV, is remanded and set to appear in court.
